Sea Trail Village Activity Center
Welcome to Sea Trail Village Activity Center
Located at 200 Royal Poste Rd in the heart of Sunset Beach, NC, the Sea Trail Village Activity Center boasts a commendable rating of 4.6, highlighting its desirability among visitors. This charming venue is perfect for those seeking relaxation, recreation, and a touch of coastal charm.
The center features a spacious outdoor pool, complemented by a smaller indoor pool, making it ideal for families and individuals alike. Guests can find a nearby restaurant offering a range of food and drinks, although some visitors noted a limited menu, particularly an absence of pizza despite its mention. The pools are well-maintained, with ample seating areas, ensuring an enjoyable day under the sun.
Customer reviews reveal a mix of experiences. Danielle Smith appreciated the dual pool options and mentioned the depth, with water ranging from 3 to 5 feet—great for both adult swimmers and young children. However, Sylvia Gruber expressed disappointment over the temporary closure of the game center and sauna during her visit. She noted the recent $5 towel deposit policy, a small inconvenience arising from towel thefts.
The center is not just about pools; it offers a vibrant community spirit. Long-time member M shared that after 2.5 years, the value of membership is undeniable, partly due to the friendly staff and inviting atmosphere. The outdoor pool has garnered praise for its size and cleanliness, encouraging families to enjoy sunny summer days together.
David Barlow highlighted the welcoming nature of the facility and the surrounding area, which remains pleasantly less crowded than other coastal locations, enhancing the overall experience. For golf enthusiasts, the availability of three well-maintained golf courses on-site adds another layer of appeal, making it an ideal spot for groups seeking a weekend getaway or a week-long adventure.
However, not all reviews were glowing; B Smith pointed out that certain areas, particularly leading to the pools, could benefit from thorough cleaning and updates. It underscores the need for continual improvements to keep pace with visitor expectations.
In summary, the Sea Trail Village Activity Center is a well-rounded destination for families, golfers, and anyone looking to unwind. With thoughtful amenities, a friendly ambiance, and plans for upgrades, it embodies the spirit of a perfect coastal retreat. Visitors can immerse themselves in leisure while enjoying a sense of community, making it a memorable destination along the stunning North Carolina coast.

Nice outdoor pool. They also have a smaller indoor pool. There is a small restaurant close to the pool where you can get drinks and food. Water depth is 3 feet- 5 feet.
I couldn't give 5 stars only because the game center was closed for repairs, and sauna was too. Change this year was the $5 deposit needed for towels which is sad because it means people have stolen towels! Also I want to note that I came the end of August.
Grandsons approved the pool even though the water was still chilly. It will be perfect once the summer days get hotter. The Tiki Bar is not opened so no way to get snacks or drinks. Restaurant only offers entrees but didn't have pizza even though it was featured on menu. However we went for the pool which was clean with plenty of sitting areas.
Been a member here for 2.5 years and the amenities are well worth the price of the membership. The staff are pleasant and friendly and the outdoor pool is huge. My 9 year old son and I enjoy our daily summer visits to the pool. The attached restaurant has excellent food at a fair price, large portions, great waitstaff. Seatrail is investing a good chunk of money into improvements to the pools and outdoor areas this Fall 2023. Some times in the early morning in the summer there are older ladies that come to the pool to do lessons or something and a couple of them don’t like kids at all and are very blunt about it- so stay away from them or dont come before 10am. The bathrooms and showers are nice, need updates but those are coming this Fall as well; they have a hot tub and indoor heated pool too. Facilities are open all year long. This is the only pool besides the college thats open to the public in the county ($60 for one adult per month or $125 for a family per month). They also have a pool table and shuffle board in the game room.
I have been coming here for years with my family. The rooms are always nice and clean. The staff has always been kind and courteous. They have 3 great golf courses on site and the grounds are beautiful. We love the area as well, it is not as crowded as some of the other areas nearby.
Pool is nice. The outdoor area and inside needs updating and a thorough cleaning. Floor leading to inside pool and outside pool looks dirty.
Excellent place for a large golf trip. Stayed for a week with a group of 8. Very Comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The convention center was great, especially on Karaoke night. Free breakfast was ok. The food was usually cold but very nice service. Golf courses were all very close by but some were very difficult for 20 handicappers. Local restaurants were great and plentiful.
